Covenant Players Gallery

These are figures done of characters from the plays of Charles M. Tanner, as portayed by members of the Covenant Players international drama ministry (of which I am a member).

Sarah Bernhardt

The Divine Sarah has been played by Suzanne Goettl and Sarah Kitch.  Here, I've amalgamated the two with the historical Sarah.

Lt. Wedgewood and the Badger

Charles Tanner commissioned this pivotal moment of his play, The Messenger - and it still adorns his workspace at home.

Claudia Procula

This was more a study in how to work out the clothing.  The character is the wife of Pontius Pilate.

The Boleyn

Sue Blough in the role of Anne Boleyn.

Gavrilo Prinzip

The part of the man who touched off WWI has been played by a number of people.  This is based on Polish CPer Darek Kawulok.

Simone

One of many figures I have done of Suzanne Goettl.  This one is Simone from the French Underground Series.  Yes - she is holding a gun.  That's for dramatic effect.

The Empress

Compare these two versions of the Empress , of the Pirate Series.  The first is based on Sharon Johnson's portrayal, the second, made a year later, is based on Jody Bader.

These are further figures from Charles M. Tanner's French Underground Series

Maj. General Wolfgang Kramer

Although this was not based on Schy Gleason, he is probably the one most associated with the role.

Countess Yvonne de Valierre

Pam Cowser provided the inspiration for this figure of the flamboyant, danger-seeking Countess

M. Carbonnier

This is a detail from a larger photograph taken of Bill Coburn, when Marian gave him the figure she had commissioned me to make.

Transit Gloria

A CPer requested this version of the perennial CP scene from the perennial CP play (complete with folding chairs and table)  -  Bob Sinclair counting off the Ten Commandments.  Recognize the fellow playing Bob?

CPers and former CPers - Any Life Series scenes you'd like me to re-create for you?  Write me to find out how!

Bea Lillie

One more Suzanne Goettl role   -  complete with cigarette holder and loooong string of pearls.
